Broome Historical Society
The current museum building was opened as the Museum in 1981 by the then Premier of WA, Sir Charles Court. This building was erected in the late 1890’s and has been used as a general store (supplying and victualing the pearling luggers) and Broome's Customs House.
The museum is open 7 days a week, 10am to 4pm in the Dry season and 10am to 1pm in the Wet.
