FREE WORKSHOPS
The Great Gardens team is a group of Australia’s leading sustainability experts , who have a passion for the environment and an equal passion for inspiring and empowering Australia to become more sustainable.
What do they do?
They offer free workshops, training sessions and events that give our communities the tools to become more sustainable.
The Team will be in BROOME on SAT 11 AUGUST 2012 and will be running 2 workshops on the day:
Great Gardens 'Go Sustainable' Workshop at BRAC
Time: 10:00AM to 1:00PM
Location: Multi-Function Room, Broome Recreation & Aquatic Centre
Cable Beach Road East at Broome Boulevard
Great Gardens 'Go Sustainable' Workshop at Broome Boulevard Shopping Centre
Time: 2:00PM to 5:00PM
Location: Broome Boulevard Shopping Centre, Frederick Street, Broome
This FREE workshops are ideal for anyone who wishes to learn the secrets of growning nutritious, delicious food at home.
Join Chris Ferreira and Captain Cleanup for live demonstrations using Vegie Bags and the 'How to Turn Sand into Soil' demonstration.
Learn about Superhero Foods, as Chris and the Captain discuss the benefits of eating delicious nutritious home grown vegies. They will also explain about how to make great soils/great compost, how to choose the best plants for your soil type and so much more!
